Subject: [Rage] Catchy Slogan Rage: Apocalypse results

Ok, I've sat on the results long enough. I was a tad bit busy last week
taking my honors exam so didn't get around to posting the results (I
    passed btw).
The plot for this toruney was determing the general outcome of the first
clash between the forces of the Wyrm and the forces of the gaian Garou,
results to determine where the story goes. Due to the decks people
brought, it seems eveybody wanted to see our favorite abomination back in
the game. every wyrm deck had Allonzo Montoya in it. Of the Gaia decks,
two were Red Talon decks and the other was a King Albrecht stomps the
Wyrm deck. The Talons didn't do so hot, but the Fangs svaed the day,
giving Gaia a narrow victory overall. (Wyrm total: 124, Gaia total: 131)

    the individual ranking as follows:
Matt "Sees-Through-Lies" Farney- 79 (Gaia- King Albrecht)- taking home
the sculpture of Ghiyath and Paradise
Jason Smith- 53 (wyrm) taking home the klaives
Fenris Lorsrai-40 (wyrm) refused prize "I have too many sharp pointy
things already" (I'm running out of room for such things)
Lurks-Between-Bytes (gaia-Red Talons, red talon! The GW was playing
Talons!)- taking home the other knife
    Teaches-the-Young-31 (wyrm)- no prize
Mariah "Needs-a-Deed-Name" Turner- 16 (gaia)- good sportsman prize for
cheerfully being stomped all over by the Wyrm.

a copy of the Storyline leading up to the tournament is available at
Azreal Productions. Look for the continuation (and the introduction of
some cool new bad guys!) in the next week.

A word of explanation here: The Talons deck was a recreation of James Logan's legendary Red Talons deck, one that pretty much singlehandedly destroyed all opposition in our little play circle here in St. Louis. Since I was trying to get back into a game after a lapse of several years, I thought I'd better go with a winner... (The Wyrm deck I brought, however, was a Pentex First Team.) -Lurks.
