Subject: Azrael News

Well, its been a while since we've made any announcements, so I'll let you
all in on what's going with Azrael Productions.

1) We've just cleared the last of the material with Wizards of the Coast, so
we will be getting the Vegas material in the near future. At this time, we
have no set date for a release of this set. The majority of this set was
completed and ready to be printed. Right now we are contacting all of the
artists involved with the project, and are discussing plans to extend this
set.

2) Work has begun on revisions and clarifications to both sets of rules.
Songs of Fire has submitted the first draft to the rules committee for Rage.
If all goes well, we should expect to see these rules by Mid-October to the
end of October. So, why does a revision like this take so long? We are
working through the original rulebook for Rage, the various supplements and
rulings. We are creating 2 documents, a rules book which contains the basic
needed information for play, and a glossary which contains all the rulings
and supplemental rules made.

For Rage Across Las Vegas, the process is not as involved, so expect to see
the rulebook and glossary much sooner, but we're still going with the
mid-October/end of October timeframe.

3) The official List Serve. Right now, there are 3 List Serves. One is the
legacy FRPG list serve, the other 2 are the new ones established on
AzraelProductions.com. I've spoken with Ryan Miller who has told me we can
continue to use the FRPG list serve for as long as we need it. We would
prefer that everyone transfer over to the 2 other lists as soon as possible.
There are 2 lists. rageccg@azraelproductions.com is for the discussion of
the original incarnation of rage. Rules questions and so on will be
answered on that list by Songs of Fire (Ed Swing). The other list is
ralvccg@azraelproductions.com for FRPG's incarnation of Rage, Rage Across
Las Vegas. Rules questions will be answered by Sees-Through-Lies (Matt
Farney).

4) We are in the preliminary planning stages for the re-establishment of the
Garou Nation. We have just received the last updated version of the Garou
Nation membership list, so we'll be looking at getting information letters
out to all previous members. We don't have a timeline set as of yet on
this, but are working towards establishing a timeline in the next 2 weeks.
This will give us an idea of when we'll starting sending out the newsletter
as well as the promo cards that will be included.

5) Relating to number 2, with the creation of official rules, will come the
creation of a full sanctioned tournament system. We are creating official
documents which will provide the sanctioned process of running a tournament.
We will also be opening up a system of tournament director approval which
will allow anyone over the age of 18 to sign up as a tournament director and
run sanctioned tournaments (for you under 18, the age of 18 is a legal
thing.) We are creating 2 separate tournament structures, one for each
flavor of Rage.

6) There is NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO.... . number 6.

That's about it from me at the moment. As always, if you have any
questions, please feel free to email Azrael Productions at
ragelives@azraelproductions.com.

thanks!
