Well, it's currently the 11th, and every time my foot is below my head, my
toe starts to swell, but here I am at work, anyway. I am recovering pretty
well, though since the wrappings are to stay on my foot for two weeks
straight, I think the doctor is in for a rude surprise when he unwraps it.
Thanks for the concern, those of you who expressed it.

We looked at several different options, and the design team may carry the
torch as a fanzine. To answer directly: no, but see below.

Andy and I are looking at how we are going to approach this.

By the end of this year, decisions will have been made.

I calculate membership by issue, not elapsed time.

I am nominally the brand manager, although Rage is nominally a classic game,
and I am not in charge of classic games. As may be clear by that statement,
we are restructuring a bit, and Luke and I are looking for someone we can
train as an assistant brand manager and put that person in charge of classic
games to cut their teeth.

As for Rage:

I have approached Mike Tinney of WW to see if they want to pick it back up.
As I have not heard back, I expect the answer is no.

I ran the latest figures I have, and with the sales tracking the way they
are, I do not think Rage will see another major expansion on the order of
Equinox. However, I made sure that it was at the top of the list of classic
expansions, during that brief week when it looked like I might be in charge
of classic games. Whoever takes over classics will receive that schedule.

BTW, the DCI has Rage floor rules, sanctioned Rage tournaments, etc. I was
also at the Rage games at GenCon (it was one of my two down times, the other
being Midnight Madness, where I had the shakes... it was the first GenCon
activity I had participated in for pleasure in the 13 years I have been
attending).
